We have been blessed with an AWESOME Caller -- the ONE and ONLY JIM HATTRICK!!
Jim has been calling for over 50 years. He loves being around people and entertaining them. He is AMAZING, and we love him! He is a genius at Calling, and his choreography is always smooth, stimulating and fun. He also has impeccable timing and cues round dances beautifully. He is quick-witted and knows how to keep us laughing at both lessons and dances. He is also an incredible square/round dance teacher and can pretty much teach anyone to dance.
Jim is a pretty popular guy and calls for several other clubs, including the Happy Hoppers Plus club also in Vancouver, so we have to share him. So... he calls most 4th Saturdays and teaches most of our lessons. We engage Guest Callers and Guest Cuers when Jim is unavailable to call and cue.
