About Us:
We began this club with the belief that more clubs means more dancers, so on September 13, 2014, we had our first dance without a name! Dancers submitted 46 names, 9 rose to the top, and one was chosen on OCT 14th - Columbia River Dancers! We are a family, single/solo, couple friendly club.
Here's our vision:
We contribute positively to the square dance community by actively visiting other clubs and participating in local, regional, and national dances, weekends, festivals, and conventions. Once our dancers have completed Mainstream lessons, we encourage them to visit as all of the local dances so they may listen and dance to as many different callers as possible. Our club has slowly grown to over 25 members.
Our intention is to focus on FUN, FRIENDSHIP and DANCING. We want our Club Members to be able to contribute as much or as little as they want to the club so they can simply come and dance, have fun, and socialize!

- Use the KISS policy ("Keep it Simple Stupid") -- Minimize the work required to operate the club
